Another Question

1. So older models had the screws and newer ones the tubing?

2. Hows the chopping affected by straight handles?

I just bought a FFBM and am waiting for it to arrive (after I pay..oops) That will be my first Busse so im very new to all this...:o

1, Again as I understand things from Cobalt and Ducci. The first ones were smooth bolts like that 1-300 LE. Next were sloted screws and then were tubes.

2. Well it would be very hard to compare just the fact that the handle is straight because the SHBM is so much lighter than an FBM.

Thank you for educating me, theres a lot to learn! As far as handles go I meant in general, just curious if there a noticeable difference in straight and curved/downswept handles. I cant wait until I get to own a piece of INFI and be awesome:D.

Thanks again, TJ

Well I’m just giving the shipper a little bit of a hard time. It was a GREAT way to ship a knife.

That is a stright handled battle mistress SHBM. Because of the swedge tip it is refered to as a 1-300 and it is significant because they were the first 300 SHBMs made and -as I understand it- the SHBM is generally significant because it was the first Busse production knife produced in INFI.

Here are two other cool ones. LEs

Don't forget Tony! The first 300 Battle Mistresses were also 62 HRC!!!

Now that a packing that should keep a mistress safe!  :D

Congrats on yet another SHBM Tony!

Are you saving any for the rest of us piglets??? :p

That is so funny. Great Box to ship scotc...I mean knives in.

Excellent knife to. A late run 1 of 300 with the straight groove slot bolt handles. Similar to your user 1 of 300.

I wish people shipped stuff to me like that. Would give the post office folks some challenge trying to think of ways to break that thing! :D

I’m glad to say that in the sarcophagus we did not find OP’s youngest brother

That's a relief!

He hasn't led the healthiest life ... most organs would already be embalmed.

It would require a bit of folding, however. :)
