Just realized that I had all my Breeden knives in my room at one time, which is a somewhat rare occasion. Don't recall having any full group shots, so thought I'd snap a few and post them just out of boredom. Have 4 of Bryan's knives in all.

The quartet sheathed. From Left, Wharncliffe, Pathfinder, LiCK, and Peacemaker

Knives next to their sheaths. Same order as above.

Thank you for enduring the fruits of my boredom.

Feel free to post any random knife pr0n you've got as well. No in use pics! This is pure pr0n. Knife-in-tree shots encouraged, as well as clean, shiny knives that look like safe queens.

Oooh Like knife pron!!

and that looks like some sexy Breeden work!

Nice collection you have there!

Hi all,

Rocketbomb I like um :D.

Here is a couple pics for the fun of it.

I just sent this pair out to a customer. This fellow wanted a knife for each hand LOL.

We should always carry 4 ways to start a fire right. Well if you carry these 4 items, I think that will be just about right LOL.

What do you all think, will carring 4 Sparky knives work?

Nice pics guys!

I'm still working on pairing down my knife collection, and my Breeden sure isn't one that I can part with.

How much are those sparkys?

Hi Peripatew, Glad to hear you are keeping your Breeden knife LOL.

As to the price of the Sparky knives you will have to contact Marshall, at going gear.com to find out the price of the Sparky knives. These Sparky knives in the pic I posted have 4" blade lengths. Marshall has told me he wants to have 3" and 6" vertions made up too. It is kind of neat having a firesteel in the handle:thumbup:.

Here you go 11x11. Actually I have to say that the Pathfinder is one of my sleeper blades. I love it dearly and it often unobtrusively finds its way on my belt or in my bag. One of those knives I've had for a while and get carried away taking shots and testing the new specimens that come along. The pathfinder doesn't always get the spotlight that it should. It has such as simple yet comfortable handle. You can use it all day and your hand never gets fatigues. One of the best models!

Hi all,

Summitmonkee Glad you like the looks of the sparky knife. Marshall at going gear.com. He also goes by Storl here on BF. Marshall had a idea for this knife and was having it made by another maker but that maker decided he did not want to do them any more so Marshall contacted me and asked if I was interested in doing these knives for him. Well I said yes and so here we are.

When I was making up the first proto type for Marshall. I had an idea to use a spycapsule instead of just a firesteel. Then I could keep some cotton and PJ mix in there with a firesteel also. so I made my self up a couple with some different handles. here is a couple of more pics of them and more knife porn.
this is the first one I made with a spy capsule.

In this pic is the way I have the firesteel and cotton/pj mix.

This is the second one I made.

Some more knife porn. Here is my newest knife that I made with a scandi grind. It is the 3rd one I made. Since Ray Mears made up his knife called the woodslore I have wanted one to, but was not going to pay several hundred dollars for one so I decided to make me one like his blade shape sort of, and with a different handle shape too. Here in this pic is the
RISK (Rays Insired Scandi Knife ) with the book by Ray Mears opended to the page that has a picture of Rays Knife.

This is how I carry my RISK.

101_1418.jpg

I carry my RISK on the strap of my shoulder bag kit. I just love this type of carry it is right there easy to get at and to put it away when I am done using my RISK. Just and another pic of the side view to showing my axe carry on the same strap.

I would like to thank Alex Norris for the RISK name. Thanks again Alex. I was chatting with Alex and sent him a pic of the knife one day and Alex said why not call the knife the RISK. I thought that was a neat idea so that is what I call now.

Jdsi 1 Nessmucks are so cool too:D. I still use mine every now and then to.

knife porn is so cooooool LOL.

Bryan

Bryan, that is a really great take on the Woodslore, I like that. The name is cool too :)

Thanks RR, I tell you after chatting with Brian Andrews one day a couple of months back about the scandi grind and how well they really cut I dicided to make one up and then another one and still more LOL I am hooked on that grind. Yea the name is kind of cool to LOL Thanks again to Alex N.

Holy smokes, this thread took off. Kind of figured Bryan would have a bunch of pictures to show.

Didn't really intend to limit this thread to one maker's knives, but Bryan definitely got the majority here!

Bryan, those red handled knives look very good. Is that red micarta?

Those osage-handled knives look really cool too, KGD. Have always liked them, and they've definitely aged well.

Hi Brent, Yea I thought some others would post there knives to.
No that larger knife the RUCK is RED G-10. with white liners and the same with the CUB knife ( bottom one).

Yea that osage wood is some cool stuff and it really does age well. We still have some small posts that have been in the fence line for 50 plus years and still keep the cattle in LOL. Osage makes some great knife handles too. Here in a few months that RISK knife should kind of look, like kgds knives that he ordered with osage. I can hardly wait to see how well the osage wood ages on that RISK I made up with the scandi grind.
I just ordered some Rose wood and plan to make another RISK and use it for the handle. I can hardly wait to see how that one turns out.

Well chat with ya all later,

Bryan
