another rat drink.....

when i was in the marines the corpman would go out drinking with us and he would always give me two multi viatims and two motrin 800. Take one of each before bed with 2 glasses of water and do the same as soon as you wake up. seemed to work. also i watched this kettlebell work out film called enter the kettlebell. THe guy had a funny quote.

some to the fact that in soviet russia you beat a hangover by drinking pickle juice. never tried it though
 
I'm sure I'll hear way more stories later. There's pics too. Gotta get my camera out and take a peek.

What I do know is I woke up to find a wet spot on the floor next to the bed. Don't ask me what happened I have no clue. I also couldn't find my clothes. Found them thrown all over and my sunglasses are mia.

Usually, when this happens to me, I find out that I peed all over myself, the wet spot was where I was standing, and I wasn't too drunk to remember that I hate sleeping in dirty pee pants.
 
No we actually figured it out. The mr put a trash can next to the bed just in case. Well he grabbed the one that was under the sink for the leaky faucet. The wet spot was actually part way under the bed so I knew I didn't piss on myself. The clothes were off bc.....well never mind
 
I learned something before I retired from the Pro Class a few months before I met my Wifey. All you have to do is drink a big glass of water before you go to bed. A hangover is just dehydration on steroids.

I have it on good authority that if you are really in good with the Navy Corpsman, you get an IV for a half hour or so and you're good to go because, DING DING DING, it's just dehydration...heard from the same Gentleman it goes the same way in Army Special Forces too. ;)
 
If we were home I would have considered giving myself an iv this morning. Still not feeling the best but a lot better then I was.

I must say though I had something called jacks punch and it was good. Jolly rancher shots were good too. There was this other shot I don't know what it was. I also had a blue hawaiian, sex on the beach, mai tais and probably a few other things I can't remember. Oh yeah a zombie! They were good too. Lol
 
Lots of water and vitamin B-12 and B-6. Then you should start felling better in afew hours
 
But that wouldn't have been as fun! Lol. I just looked at the pictures. I don't remember a lot of them. Surprise!
 
I despise going to Baltimore City but next Monday I have to go to a meeting in Murderland. When Wifey and I have accomplished our mission, there is a single place that I know of in Maryland that sells Lucid which is real French Absinthe. I think I am going to have a go at it and see if I can go mad in the finest tradition of Wilde, Van Gogh and even Hemingway.
 
oh i just remembered there was this awesome alkaseltzer called morning relief. singal handlely got me through 2 years of the marines... and a week in vegas.
 
Ifeel like a new woman! My muscles are a bit sore but the room is not spinning anymore! I guess I should grab some potassium and count my blessings that I made it through yesterday!
 
I have done the pickle juice thing. It works awesome. Eat a pickle and pound down the juice. You'll be up and running soon.

I also like V8 for hangovers. It replaces a lot of the water soluble vitamins you peed out the night before.

Being from the dairy state, I can also recommend chocolate milk...seems to help settle a queasy stomach, and start hydrating. This is a timely topic, since I am heading out this afternoon to drink for 4 days at a music festival...

You know those are my two go-to drinks for heavy workouts, they are awesome rejuvenators(?) and replace electrolyte/vitamin as good as any other.
 
oh i for sure would have blown chunks if i tried chocolate milk! the thought is making my stomach feel nasty!
 
lol of course milk does have that property, it's good because it has an almost ideal proportion of electrolytes to protein or something like that, which your muscles need and most other sports drinks don't have. I would stick to the pickle juice for the hang-over, but I don't have much experience with that.
 
used to go to sonic and order a BLT with extra bacon, chili cheese fries and a rt 44 blue coconut rootbeer. the bread and grease absorb the alcohol still in your stomach and the root beer goes to rehydrate you. that was my hangover breakfast for a good 5 years.
