Same here. Though I am not out in the woods with canned beverages, so whenever I have those rings to cut up I am at home in the kitchen. And I have plenty of good scissors in the kitchen.
 
If you see a piece of trash... Pick it up. Leave the area cleaner than you found it or pay it forward. Whatever. I can't count how many times I have been fishing and packed out a bottle or birds nest of line I tripped over or ran across.
