Another round in the giveaway started by mrknife

We'll be camping this weekend starting tomorrow. I'll be away from the internet and cell phone service for a few days unless plans change. Hope the box arrives on schedule.

Well, it's Thursday and it's pouring rain here. Hoping I don't get a soaking wet box of knives. I'm looking forward to seeing what's there and coon fingering the lot.

I think it's better to just post a picture of what you keep. The surprise is a big part of the giveaway.

I forgot to thank whoever put the Western folder in. I fixed the broken tip, honed the edge, and plan to take it with me camping this weekend. It's not a knife I would have normally been drawn to but it fit my hand too good to let go. Thanks again to everyone!

Got the box yesterday. It is quite nice pawing through a boxaknives like that. Life is getting in the way of doing things quite like I would want to. I'm getting work done at my house and staying at my lady friends for a month or two. I went in and threw some of my knives in a box last weekend but still cannot get to my camera. Hoping this cell phone pic will do.

I have a quick question. Two of the knives I had planned to add to the box are duplicates of existing knives. On the left are the two I had planned on and on the right two that were already in the box.

The Bow Trapper on the left is a Colt. They don't make them anymore but the Rough Rider Bow Trapper on the right is exactly the same, Rough Rider just makes them now. A Kamp King is a Kamp King.

Should I add them or not?

I *think* I've made my choices. I fell in love with the Boker when I opened the box.

And this is what I'm thinking of putting in. I'm wondering if it is fair dinkum and open to input. Those are two nice knives on the right in the pic above.

Here is a close up of the two nicer knives I'll put in. Both Boker USA in good shape. Commemorating The Alamo and Sutters mill.

Looks like some good choices made on both ends.
The Sutter's Mill knife is very cool, I live 20 minutes away from there.
