This refined rustic knife is forged of 5160 from tip to tang including the palm swell and slight taper in the tang. The bevels are ground and the
blade heat treated by selective hardening the edge and tempering to 58 Rc. The handle is Cocobolo scales with black liners and loveless bolts with epoxy secure them in place. My intent with this class of rustic knives it to produce a blade that looks 150 years old but one that has been taken very good care of. The spine is nicely file worked.

Blade Steel: .3 inch thick forged 5160 hardened to Rc 58
Blade Length: 6.0 inches tip to wood with hammer marks and forging scales left for
character
Overall length: 11.3 inches
Handle: Cocobolo wood scales with black liners
Sheath: 8/9 ounce tooled leather sheath with optional right or left
carry.
