Another setback in finding a Woodsman.......

It sounds like he's got a family crisis going on. If that's the case, then I'm confident you'll receive the Woodsman, it'll just take longer than expected. I have, however, experienced a seller who strung me along on a pair of Scrap Yard MOD-7s (it's a military overrun Dumpster Mutt variant) for almost two years -- saying that he had a family crisis, then was deployed overseas, occasionally I'd get an "I'll get them to you soon", but they never arrived. Eventually, his wife saw a nasty-gram that I emailed to his account and she sent a refund, but that was a very bad experience. I know that it's hard to be patient when you've sent money and are waiting for the goods, but he has a lot of posts and a good feedback history, so I'd be inclined to cut him some slack over deaths in the family (even if it stretches out a couple months).
 
I would just like to hear something... I have also thought that if something bad happened to him, I will feel like shite. But at this point I just do not know anything.
 
I hope Ray is OK. I've enjoyed dealing with him for quite a while, never had any issues.
 
I hope everything is OK as well. Hoping it is something we can work out- his profile here is of an honest man. I lost my Dad 3 days before Thanksgiving and I know it can turn ones world upside down, but I still went to work, paid bills and kept moving forward. The lack of response is what concerns me most.

Yea BloodGroove always made a good impression on me. I know it sucks to have to wait for something you paid for but it aint been too long and hopefully he will be around shortly to ship it. But I know if I was u I would be getting pissed too if there was no com from him.

I HAVE heard from Ray as of this AM and he has indeed had a bad turn of luck and we are now in contact, knife is on the way with tracking number. I am very happy to know that his profile and supporters are 100% correct.

Woodsman arrived today and I am very happy with it! Broken comms turned out well and I am happy as hell to say that Ray is a stand up guy!

The Woodsman has a light agile feel to it. The BF feels solid and stocky in comparison. Maybe partly due to the slimmer grip? I should do a pic with the spine shot to show the difference in width of grip. I'd say the handle on the Woodsman took some serious time to grind out.

I should have wiped the dust off the HB! LOL!! Laid them on the ground while I was posing them one at a time.
