We used to go to the place in grade school and collect them really cool shell patterns around there. We werent looking yesterday since that the two year old with the broken wrist was runnning and climbing everything along with always taking the less beaten trail just like daddy. Good thing i used to roam this park alot as a kid so we were never really lost, but the wife looked nervous at times always asking if i knew my way back or if we were gonna get caught out on the trails after the sun went down.

Looks like a great time Clich. How you likin that Monsoon after having it for awhile?

Yeh its my EDC pack, hold what i need most of the time. First aid, water, blades, a few BOB items just in case, and of course since my wife likes to pack extremely heavy, i had all sorts of stuff for her and the kid in there too, diapers toys, snacks, makeup (wtf?), etc etc

Day 2, shorter hike due to these woods being hardwood and thus not much to look at now with the leaves down, at least to my wife and shes the boss. so here are some more pics of todays outing and the blades (may be one the 7's and FIN's last romps in the woods for a while since i expect a crewman and a HEST 2.0 on monday which means those will probably get the most belt time) anyways again in no particular order and without further adieu ...
