My friend Peter Grant (Preacherman from THR) suffered an on the job injury. To
make the story short, he's been in pain for months, and is looking at his second
back surgery. He doesn't post here, but did pick up a couple of BAS's that he is very happy with.

Peter is a prison chaplain in LA (though not able to work at present). He was always calling to check up on me earlier in the year, when I was dealing with my dad's terminal illness and my roomate's stroke. His parents in South Africa have also been having health problems recently.

Prayers, kind wishes, or smoke for my friend Peter, who's spent so much of his life caring for other people, would be appreciated.

He is in my thoughts.

I share Kis's opinion. If he's a friend of a forumite, then he's my friend too. My best wishes go with him. May he find strength in his time of need.

Prayers for your friend. I've read him on HR and he is one of the good guys.

Hey, this is what this forum does best: Light candles, burn sweetgrass, send smoke, and remember our friends and brothers

One of my best friends had his wife's dad die 6 weeks ago; four weeks ago his sister's husband lost his battle with cancer and brought him home to bury, two weeks ago his wife's mom passed away...

Once you hit fifty it's a slippery slope and it starts going downhill faster and faster. Like going down a ski jump - and when you get going as fast as you can, then you go off the end of the jump.

Going up now.

You got it John. There's a special kind of hell people with back injuries live in. Hope he gets well very soon.

Regards,

Norm

Thanks, everyone. I know it only seems this way, but sometimes it seems like the good people take the hits. Maybe that's just because it's easier to care and notice when bad things happen to good people.

Consider it done, John. We all work together.

Smoke up from the Gulf coast (aromatic Indian Champaka).
