Another sodbuster

Today the mailman brought me my Case 3137 CV sodbuster. Three and five-eights inches of heaven.

Yep. I've got the same thing sitting comfortably in my front pocket as I type this. After passing them over for years myself I finally picked up the Case. What a fine companion. It carries better than a lot of my smaller knives. Like Waynorth, I did the vinegar patina on mine.

The sodbuster does have some competition now with a sibling. I recently added a slim, barehead, single-blade trapper, 31048 CV. For being such a long knife this one carries nicely. It carries best in the rear pocket, but still carries comfortably in the front. Sometimes, most times actually, the sodbuster rides in the front and the trapper in the back. Hey, it gives me two blade choices.

sodbuster udate, picked up a case sodbuster jr in cv with yellow handle yesterday. action was really good and tight and it was cv to boot. the only problem was it wasn't for me it was for my sons birthday, well someday, later, ahgar
