Just caught an episode of "The Lost World" and in this episode some folks from the future end up on the plateau with the lost expedition. I know, not the best writing in the world, but hey, Jennifer O'Dell wears a little leather outfit in every episode.
Anyway, this kid gets capture by some savages and when his Dad tries to rescue him, he gets captured as well. When Jennifer O'Dell's character come in to distract the savages the Dad pulls a Spydercard out of his pocket and starts cutting the ropes holding him and his son captive. The camera even does a close up on it! It was Plain-edge.
