I wouldn't count on it. I'm 75 years old.Wow, another survival Hatchet, you’re gonna live forever at this rate![]()

Nothing in life is guaranteed. The hatchets do work well in normal situations and one could save your life. For example, you're asleep in bed and you wake up and someone is on top of you choking you. You reach down beside the bed and grab your hatchet and Crack his skull. It's possible. The fact is, there is no telling how times throughout history a Hatchet or tomahawk has been used to good effect to survive. Is there any kind of guarantee on Survival Hatchets?
Do they work in normal situations like chopping wood or only life/ death stuff?

Since you don't seem to be to keen on Survival hatchets, how bout a survival tomahawk.View attachment 1976608Is there any kind of guarantee on Survival Hatchets?

You can do anything you like. That's the great thing i like about being a US citizen. Living here 75 years and serving in the US army 4 years in the 60's to protect those freedoms makes me relish that freedom even more.Cool. I quite fancy a Survival Hatchet, do I have to buy one or can I just call a normal Hatchet I already have a “Survival” Hatchet?
You need to tell Estwing that, there's no telling how many they have sold since 1923 when they went into business making steel handle hachets and other tools.Steel handles ain't good for using nor carrying.
Steel handle hitting apparatuses were made for construction sites for durability. Occasional use, not prolonged and with gloves. They are not for outdoor escapades. It's a great tool for the garage. You need to tell Estwing that, there's no telling how many they have sold since 1923 when they went into business making steel handle hachets and other tools.
I had 3 and moved on. They seem soft. Easy to roll the edge and needs sharpening quite often.I struggle to go past a fiskars. The light weight and the sharpness are hard to beat.
Nobody said they weren't functional. You need to tell Estwing that, there's no telling how many they have sold since 1923 when they went into business making steel handle hachets and other tools.
