As always, great pics! Looks like you had a great time. And you didn't miss on 9-11, looks like Dan's dragging his feet on this one...

Thanks all... :) It was good to get out and about but the reality has set in now I am back to work tomorrow morning.... :( I am sort of glad the 911 is not up as yet...I mean with an MBC and TGLB to pay for in the near future......

Mad props on the Landcruiser love.

You go a nice one there! Looking to get my second Landcruiser at the year model you have.

Yes... us here in the "north" are far quicker off the mark than you "southerners" ... ;) The pack is an Arktis Patrol Pack with a pair of PLCE side pouches attached (the pack comes with zip connections for just this purpose).

...yep...very hard to better a TLC....you could say I am a little one eyed about it though... ;)

I don't envy the hog infestation, but I do envy the target rich environment! Great pics.

Thanks all... :)

Rhino where are you located ??

I just love March to September.... best of the hunting year for me..... :) :) Off for another week early July and will fit in a long weekend or two between now and then...:) :)

Well we ate about 2kgs of bacon back at the cabin over the week....and not that cremated skinny stuff that passes for bacon over your side of the pig pond either.... ;) :)

Thats it. I am moving. That looks like paradise to me. Thanks for sharing. I always enjoy your hunting adventures.

Garth

Garth, it is a gorgeous area (I grew up not far away so I may be a little bias), the property is worth close to $20 Million (land value alone). The owner (I have been hunting here since 1985) passed away 18 months ago but left it to his son (who I have never met and who lives in Sydney) he knows of the guys who have frequented the hills for so long and has made it clear we are still welcome, even if the property manager HATES us with a passion and made it clear we would not be back after the death of the owner (who was in the process of firing his lazy ass !!!).
