So.......I posted pics of my Sage/Black micarta after I dyed the scales "Black". Well as you saw in my other post "First TGA2 mod".......the scales turned out a deep rich brown. I didn't expect that, but fortunately.......they looked great, so I kept it that way.
Well after fondling it for several days.......I kept thinking "man......I wish this handle just fit my hand better." So last night, I spent a few hours with 60 grit sandpaper and relaxed the contours until it fit me like a custom!
Well now I had to re-dye. So I thought, this time I'll let the water and dye come to a boil and see If I can't get it that black I was originally hoping for.
To my suprize.........
It did!!
