Another TGLB thread

so it is just coating removed + bead blasting
is it possible to order one and have Busse remove coating and make it satin (more polished look)?

No satin available on this one from the shop, check out this guy though:

he's a craftsman/service provider here on the forum, so the link should be okay. I've been drooling over that Gladius... I haven't looked too much into his work or read reviews, but that might be as close as you'll get.

I've been using Flitz gun/knife wax on my CF TGLB and it's been working great, not even a hint of the beginnings of corrosion. I was thinking about treating my blade, then letting it sit outside for a few days to see how it does and post a review.

I just thought about something funny, buying a CF knife is kinda like buying pre-faded jeans

A better anology would be like buying "undyed" jeans, as the finish has not been obtained through atrificial wear... ;)

is it possible to get hand shaped scales that would be less bulky?

I'm sure it IS possible but with a little effort and time you can get hand shaped scales the fit to your liking!!

Yes, I got hand shaped black canvas and it feels great! My hands are not that big. See pics in my earlier post. Just have to call the shop and request it.
