Made this one a couple weeks ago, forgot it was on a back shelf... Made from a Nicholson file tempered down to 58-60rc., 5" long, 1 7/8" edge, 3" Rasberry Dymondwood handle, NickelSilver pins, Handstiched 7oz. leather sheath (sheath snaps right into handle), You could shave with it (but I wouldn't)... $60 shipped conus w/ 100% mbg. Have had one of these for a few weeks, very secure in the sheath, handy, beautiful, and many other adjectives....don't hesitate.:thumbup:

Is the snap your idea? if not where did you hear about it? its a great idea.
 
I saw it at a knife and gun show here in Michigan about 3 years ago,,, Just started using it myself about 2 months ago.
