Another trip up the 43 road.

Wow.. Great pics fellas and a very decent number of user blades. I love the look of the bush you guys get to play in..

Great pics! Looks like a lot of fun...

That SJTac looks like it may have spent some time in Texas... looks familiar anyway!

Great to you guys out having fun in the snow. Thanks for posting, it warms my heart to see someone able to get out and use their knives well.

Thanks for the reply, Troy!!!

Sorry it's taken so long--I just saw the thread.

The Siegle knife is the Jungle Knife--I am extremely pleased with it. It is a black coat--some kind of ceramic coat I think.

It is indeed a Kifaru Express pack.

Awesome day--glad you guys like the
pictures. Thanks for taking them Troy.

You might have covered this in a previous post, but I can't help but notice the handle mods on this one. Who did all that for you? How does it compare to the origianl config while in use, assuming you used it before the mods?

The FSH(H(?)) was a great knife "out of the box," but I like the utility of a flat surface at the butt; so the 'beak' was less-than-optimal for my purposes...

Working with Garth and the crew was awsome! I drilled off the handle and reshaped the slabs, sent the 3 parts in and they knocked the beak of the butt, and re-assembled the slabs; producing what must be VERY close to the "perfect" user knife for me.
(I also prefer the brass rivets!)

It did lighten up the handle a tad, moving the balance point forward a bit...
which works out great for chopping.

Great Knife!!

Oh, and here's a shot of BruceW's "Bill Blade" having easily gnawed through a bit of a down tree:
