Jaxx you may be more correct than you realize. I don't remember the date but I think it was a gunshow in Tupelo MS that I held my first Busse. I think it was a SAR 3. It was in both combat grade and LE. I do remember the one I liked the most had beautiful tigerhide scales. I won't name names but the individual had cards that said he was an authorized Busse sales rep. Pretty sure I still have the card. Waaay more into guns at the time.

If I'm correct (after a quick search through old threads), this would be YEARS before I discovered Busse knives. Would 2001 or thereabouts when Andre Dumouchel and/or Andy Prisco did shows sound about right? :)
Whatever the knife was, it wouldn't have been a SAR3 unless I'm way off on the year, but we all do love that tigerhide! :D
 
Jaxx you are quite the search hound. I have seen you reach into posts pas before and now again you do not disappoint. It was Andre Dumouchel and it would have been about 2001. I found his card in one of my product files/piles. If I can figure out how to post a photo from my droid I can prove it.

Andre is still active here under the handle of papathud. Pretty cool to think that he planted the seed so many years ago that is only now sprouting.
