ANOTHER UPDATE - Brand New Large Sebenza "Night Sky" *MORE PICS

Ah yes, i've looked up paua shell to see what it was and where it came from. And the star saphire actually shows a star pattern when held up to the light if i remember correctly. Both look so nice on these night skies. Thanks.

That's a beauty! I love the tall trees in yours, gives it a closer feel.
The stars are there! They will be little indentation dots. I can see them at the left side near the pivot screw.
They are hard to capture in a straight on shot like that.
Is it there yet? :D

The knife just arrived. It is not the same one pictured on the AD's website because this one has a blue lanyard pin and thumb stud and the pictured one didn't. The trees are positioned differently also. I still think it is beautiful. I thought they were discontinued, but mine came in the new box and the DOB is 3/24/15.

Awesome! Like it even better than the one you thought you were going to get!

Very nice.
I have never understood the totally discontinued concept, unless it just can't be manufactured anymore or was a limited edition and sold at such. I think it makes much more sense to not be making the product at this time, but it could always be brought back. Seems like this may fall into that category, hopefully there will be more old designs revived. This ones a winner.

Nice knife, great pictures. The Night Sky is a tough knife to capture in pictures. Every variation in angle and light produces a different image. That's one of the things I like most about the pattern. Congrats and enjoy..
