Forged from 52100 high carbon steel
Heat treated in my Evenheat furnace to Rc 58-60 with three normalizing and two tempering cycles creating a fine grain structure throughout the blade
Flat grind with a 400 grit belt finish
Professionally stabilized curly maple handle
Overall length: 8 3/4 inches
Blade: 4 inches

No disagreement about the quality of workmanship but I would say that all other knife prices are too high, not that Gerry's are too low. We blur the line between tools and jewelry around here. Gerry comes through about once a week to redraw it.
