Happy Birthday to My devoted other half,(ie. Hoghead for those new guys). Yes, he's 45 today and unfortunately has to spend the day moving all the stuff out of storage to the new domicile.

Happy Birthday to Hoghead. German Chocolate or Vienna Torte cake or both really makes it a festive occasion for me.

Maybe a Dobos Torte?

( That's where they cook twe layers, then freeze each layer so they can cut it into 4 layers, and put one layer down, slather icing as thich as the cake, put another cake layer, icing... end up with 8 layers cake and 8 layers icing. )

I made my birthday cake with chocolate cake, a layer or milk chocolate icing, more cake, german chocolate icing with pecans, coconut, et. al., another layer of cake, milk chocolate icing, last layer of cake, german chocolate icing on top, and the rest of the milk chocolate on the sides.

Anyway, enjoy until you next see the doctor. I understand they have to complete a new course in professional sadism to graduate nowadays.
