My "funnin' around" bag just needed a cool name. Maxpedition Monsoon Gearslinger with STRipper and HH attached per Spec-Ops Survival Sheaths, a Surefire Outdoorsman E2 in the OD tube and a CamelBack Nalgene w/ bite tube for my beer:D . Inside are compass, binocs, firestarters, water purifier and misc. Just thought I'd share.

I was looking at the maxpedition bags. That is the largest one they make (as far as I know)....how do u like it? I just had new web gear made for training at Ft. Bliss for subsequent deployment to Afghanistan...I will try and post pics of it later. My Hell Razor is attached with an OKuden Kydex (Tek Lok) sheath.

Sweet rig  Those pour little yuppie hikers that walk past you on the trails are gonna s#%& themselves when they see that rig...LOL

Cool pics, mymindisamob.

Would you care to put a review in the gadget & gear someday. Been looking at Monsoon and the jumbo versipack, decision, decision....

Will do as I use it a little more. I do like it for a single strap pack and it feels very durable. I don't think it will replace my main squeeze (Lowe-Alpine Bear Paw 45) and I'm looking at the Tadgear Alpha Pack Gen 2 for hunting next year.

I will tell you this though, as sheeple unfriendly as it looks, those Busses just feel right on this pack.;)

Me like! :D I have one of the little Thermite Versipacks and its fantastic, looking at the Fatboy but that Monsoon is calling my name bigtime. I got my Thermite from our very good friends here in town who run a little web business, the only place I get the gear for my survival sheaths http://www.twowolvesoutdoor.com/index.html

MyMindIsAPorkChop,

Awesome rig my friend!!!!

Thanks for that pic, I'm happy to see a better pic of the size of the Mon soon Gearslinger

Great looking set-up

:D:D

Awesome pics man. I really like that bag. I am in line for a new bag, I never thought of maxpedition.

Aren't you supposed to wear that strap over your head?
Not sure what you mean here. Strap is in right position, but there is a small waist belt that helps keep things in place. If you meant it should go over my models mug:D , well this guy is the best I could get on short notice. He's always hangin around at my place and he's very cheap (easy too,my wife says:D ).

Thanks folks, I'm glad to see so many think this is a cool setup. LeatherHOG posted a great link:thumbup: and I will just add a link to the outfitters I prefer nowadays.

Nice pictures:thumbup: , thanks for sharing!
I couldn't think that a Spec-Ops sheath could accommodate the HH! Did you have to make any adjustments for that?
