Knife #3 - REMINGTON UMC 1920 to 1940, 3-3/4” official BSA scout knife pattern, RS3333. This may be a later knife as the pattern number is inked on the back tang of the spear blade, still visible.

Nice brown bone handles, no cracks or chips. All four blades have strong snap, no wobble.

A lightly used knife. The master spear blade shows some use, original finish with patina and very slight blade loss. All other blades are full undamaged with patina and specks, punch is marked and still has bluing inside. Can opener is not marked.

A fine old REMINGTON scout. Brass liners with milled center liner, nickel silver pins. $140

Knife #4 - REMINGTON UMC 1920 to 1940, 3-3/4” official BSA scout knife pattern, RS3333.

Nice light colored brown bone handles, no cracks or chips. All four blades have strong snap, no wobble. Bail is bent but intact.

A lightly used knife. The master spear blade shows some use, lightly sharpened, the original etch is clear, it is all there with patina over it.

All other blades have patina and specks, punch is marked, can opener is marked with REMINGTON and has the patent number.

As the photos show, the main blade tip and the punch tip are chipped, very little loss. Brass liners with milled center liner, nickel silver pins. $85

Knife #6 - Antique REMINGTON UMC 1920 to 1940 Curved Jack “NEW ENGLAND WHALER” pattern

Nice antique REMINGTON UMC jackknife, 3-5/8” closed. Both blades are tang stamped.
Used, both blades are about full with patina, stains, great snap no wobble. Smooth black handles have no cracks or chips. Minor chips at the pint of each blade (see photos). Brass liners and pins.
Remington called this the “New England Whaler” pattern. There is a faint etch visible on the blade – not the Remington etch. It is likely an advertising etch, but I cannot make it out. Stains have covered up most of it. $65
