All, I restored and brought back to life an antique Ulu/Vegetable Chopper carbon steel blade. Great feel in hand, great control for cuts, beautiful wood handle, and a non-chipped blade. I removed all rust and gunk, but left the patina-thought wrong to erase it's history of use. A beautiful piece. In the right lighting you can vaguely make out a maker's mark of sorts. "I M....."
