I haven't had anything up for grabs in quite some time. This one has an antiqued finish that many hunters are really liking. (A little less worry about staining and rusting problems)

O-1 Tool Steel at 60 RC
Green Canvas Micarta Scales
Stainless Handle Bolts
OAL - 8 1/4"
Blade Tip-to-Handle - 3 3/4"
$225. ships anywhere in the U.S.

Love the color of the sheath. May I ask what color dye you used?

Bob, I used Fiebings "Saddle Tan" Professional Oil Dye. After the sheath was finished, I went over it with Tandy's Eco-Flo Saddle Tan "Gel Antique", then a coat of "Neat-Lac" (Yup, still got a small amount of that stuff left).

That is a "Knife for Life". It will do anything you need it to do short of what you need an axe or crowbar to do. Great steel and very practical handle material (as well as very pretty).
I love it! Can't do better than one of Bob's knives. Different but not better.

I got a knife from Robert a while back. Lent it to a blacksmith friend, he ran over his with the mower,
Now he won't give it back. I'm serious. "After I get back from MT you can have it back"
Lovely ain't it?

Doc and Dozier,

I appreciate the kind comments. You guys certainly should know, as you both have more than one of my blades. If I recall, at least one has seen action in a far away land field dressing a few exotic "ani-mules". :)

Just knowing that my knives are being used and that the owners are satisfied with the results makes this old boy a "Happy Camper".

As I remember ,that is correct. 2008 or 2009 or both. My son has one of yours too and it has gone "in the field" a few times.
