Head is hand forged 1084/1095 steel with a screw on bowl, engraved, carved
and file worked and given an antique patina.
Handle is curly maple with a carved Fleur De Les, fittings are antiqued mild
steel.
Measurements; head with bowl is 7 1/8 with a 2 1/4 inch cutting edge, overall
length is 20 1/2 inches.

Price; $495.00 (plus shipping)

Jeez, that's a very nice hawk... I personally would be very tempted to use it around the camp, but very afraid to mess it up at the same time...
 
Bob is a very talented man. his skills he shares with others. His range is unbeliveable. This is not a look at me thing But, I can buy most any knife I care to own, or for that matter most any thing else. Bob will do as well as most Mastersmiths. I purchase his work for the quality, and I like him very much, he is a survivor. He made me a complete take down tanto that is a very fine piece of work. He wanted to do it traditional so I said you do it the way you think it needs to be done. It sits on my desk and I pick it up every day and try to think of not only being able to do this type of art, but to let it go and share it.

There are also many other talented people here. I do not know them all but I get to one when I see what I like.
 
Thanks all, and thanks Floyd but I think sometimes you think to much of me but I do enjoy the freedom to create you give me instead of a rigid type project make its all a lt more fun:D
