Antler Alternatives

I have usually used caribou antler (which I understand is the same as reindeer) for my puukko handles, and I love that natural pearly white look.

Unfortunately the source I had is gone, and was wondering what alternatives there are.

I was thinking of trying Sambar Stag or Giraffe bone. Not having to worry about the pith would sure be nice.

Was going to suggest Axis. Not much figure but slicked off and polished it looks good.
