Antler handle on a mora

I was looking through some stuff and found an old piece of antler that holds no significance to me, so I was thinking I'd make into a handle for my mora classic #2. How feasible of an idea is this? I've never worked with antler or bone before, and I've never made any handles from scratch, so any guidance here would be appreciated. I'll post pics for scale in a bit, but for now, the whole piece of antler is probably a little longer than my whole Mora.

I am working on the same. My first try. I just drilled a hole in the antler, and used 2 part epoxy to stick the blade in. not sure how well it well hold up time will tell.
