large traditional style skinner/hiking knife
This is a hefty looking but light knife with lots of surface to slice with.
S-shaped blade with a trailing point tip makes it a excellent slicer
Overall length: 12”
Blade legnth : 6” tip to ricasso
Blade height : 2.5” edge to spine at thickest
This knife is hand forged from a reclaimed lumber mill saw blade which puts it in the L6 grade of tool steel. Heat treated and two temper cycles, it’s hard and will keep an edge
The handle includes a steel guard, deer antler, wenge, jacobe, walnut and leather
