Got a "real" Antonio banderas knife in a package deal, and wanted to see if anybody knew anything about them. Previous owner could only tell me that it was bought at a charity auction and that it was cryo treated. With online searches I am not able to find much data.

The only time I've seen the name Antonio Banderas associated with knives has been on ebay, where they sell both pattern welded ("damascus") and homogeneous steel knives that appear to be made in Pakistan. The ones on ebay look very much like the one in your pics. I don't know anything else about them, though.

On a whim I bought a Pakistani Damascus straight razor, because it was cheap and kinda cool looking. Looks very very similar in style to that knife there.

So no point then (no pun intended) apart from the fact, that the actor with not much knife cache played Zorro in a B-movie, where AB wielded a rapier, foil or epee (I forget which and refuse to watch the shitty movie to find out), which after all is the long thin blade, Zorro is most known for. They should then have called the knives for 'Zorro,' which would have been just as lame.

I stand by my previous statement.

Shape of the knife blade in the OP does not have too bad lines apart from that.

Sounds about right

I like the looks of the knife in the Op, can we guess about the quality? Just curious.

If from Pakistan, as some members have suggested, quality might unfortunately not be high judging from a slew of other knives from that country. No offence to the OP and his knife.
There will be a few exeptions to the rule of course.

Overall the handle looks well done, but only concern is the steel hardness and holding an edge. Really need to have it tested and use a bit to see what comes back and holds up. Might have slightly overpaid since it could be from Pakistan, but still a good looking blade, imo.

Agreed.
And if it turns out to be a good user, more power to you.
Hope its a user and not a dud.

Do report back.
