My first Spyderco was a FFG Endura a few years ago and it so much blade play that I gave it to my brother. Quite honestly, it was annoying and turned me away from wanting to buy anything else from them.

Today I received an all black Military off of the Exchange. I'm definitely glad I bought it. Lock-up is nice and solid and the overall feel of the knife is just great. I know this is a sappy thread but I just felt obligated to give 'em a good review.

Every man needs a Millie. And a Para2. And a Delica. The only QC fumble I've ever gotten is an untapped clip hole. All mine lock up fantastic. No centering issues either.

I agree with dman62 but I would rather have an endura instead of a delica. I really love the military. I am interested to see if there will ever be a Millie 2 with similar changes like the para 2. Congratulations on your Military.

I've always read how crazy some people were about their military's but it wasn't until this week (just bought a couple of Millie's) that I finally get it.

A millie and a para 2. Talk about a pair of knives! I would think you would have two of the best knives made. I sure do need to come up with the money to get another millie.

I looked at the paras but just didn't find myself wanting to buy one. I was looking for a 4" blade and was bouncing around a lot of options. I just decided to be spontaneous and pull the trigger on a millie. Again, glad I did. Not saying I probably wouldn't enjoy a xm-24 or a strider but I'm definitely digging the millie. I also found myself quickly getting over the handle vs. blade ratio. There's something about the proportions that just work well.

All I can say now is that I'm looking forward to the millie 2.

Had the same problems with every single FRN knife I have gotten from them, except the ladybug. No more FRN for me. I feel your pain :p
