Anvil knife

Well this will be the last of these. I have used all the damascus up that i have had for a while. This is made by stock removal from a bar that i bought of 1095/15n20 damascus 2 3/4"
Blade and 6 1/4" overall.

I have just one question, though: isn't making a design centering around an anvil by stock removal a little...ironic? :p
 
Man, that's cool! I bet it's a pain to get the anvil filed in, but very cool look:thumbup:
 
You are really getting good at carving and your designs are out of sight. What a great idea!
 
Thanks guys here is a pic of the little cross pein that i am going to incorp. into the sheath i'm just not sure how yet.

Holy cow. You're making some awesome knives Robert! This is like three of them now that I've noticed that you hand carved like this. They are really cool!

That knife is just too cool, but I must admit that I was thinking the same thing :D

I was thinking the same thing when i made it but i am going through a bout of tennis elbow so not much choice i still got the itch to make knives:D.
