The Peddinghaus I got is SO NICE and SO NEW I decided it needed it's own custom dedicated brand new stand, so I have been taking evenings and fabricating one. Kept it s the horn protrudes over the edge for extra free space when bending big things around it, plus extra stability over the 2 legs, Added a little tray for holding things like punches, lube can, chisels and rivets and stuff, with a hammer ring and a bending fork/tool holder out the other end. I would have liked to use something more substantial then 1/4" plate but that's what I had, hence the gusset, and figured I would ridgidize the whole thing with gussets all over. I want to add more tooling rings, and some made special for specific tools. I need to add some wood or perhaps some G10 slabs under the anvil to cushion things and also adjust the height perfectly, then figure out how I want to anchor it to the stand so as to be easily removed for transport, I want to do something cool and mechanical.

A Bakers dozen, lets vote, I like #2 the best. Oh ya that stands not bad either.:p:D:thumbup:

BIG Wing Nuts like Hofi makes.

Stand looks great, really like those knives too, you have any closeups of those.

Here in Sam's land it's 45 F this morning , just right for forging !
Sam , are those knives for cutting the pig ? BTW when is it , the date isn't listed on the PV website.

Sweet wheels Sam!!! :)

I saw that first pic and was going to ask when the heck you got the killer Miller TIG unit.... But I'm guessing during my absence from the interwebz, you got yourself a job at a fab shop or something similar.

Cool stand! Lots of thought put into it, and it shows. Love the blades! You're a machine!  :)

Thanks guys! Punisher it's a european thing hehe.

Dan they do, but were cutoffs from the binding suit for the "glass phonebooth filled with concrete" act Spencer Horsman did on America's got talent :D

Thanks Nick! i am indeed working for another shop, Swordmakers!!!! Baltimore Knife and Sword to be precise, I am the head blacksmith there :D I look forward to when the foot pedal finally comes for that Tig unit :D then it's time to teach myself.

Surprisingly, not too much prethought went into the stand, I just keep adding things I want to it, still to come is more tool holders, a rasp holder, cup holder....... I like to start with a general idea then just let it go.

I'll vote for #6. Very nice stand, if you have concrete to put it on. Are the feet big enough to support in on gravel? I'm betting Sam has access to a plasma cutter now?

Thanks guys! Which number 6 are you guys talking about?

Chuck, feet are like 2.5" square, big enough for loose dirt it's only a 100 pound anvil.

The top knife in this picture. I dig the stamped decoration on the other handles, but this blade design seems the most appealing to me. Would you e-mail me sometime? I have a project I want your thoughts on.
