Anvils

Saw that just tonight as well. Amazing how high those things fly! I'd hate to do that to a perfectly good anvil, though. Too many eager parents waiting to adopt that poor misused anvil and bang out some knives.

There was some anvil launching at Josh Smith's hammer-in in MT, but man... none of them went off like that. That's just amazing. :thumbup: :cool:
 
If I remember correctly those are true ASOs that they made themselves or had made just for that purpose as to not destroy any good anvil.
 
Thats insane. You wouldnt think it would go that high.

I think its great. Its not going to damage it, they were made to be whacked and have hot metal placed on them. Unless it hit the other anvil it will be fine.

So whos up for anvil catching then?

That looks like fun! My Dad described this to me when I was a kid. I didn't quite get it untill now.
