Any 2005 Limited Editions updates ??

I sure am carrying mine! Didn't spend the big bucks just to let it rot in a drawer. Taking it out this weekend to the deer hunt. I don't plan on submersing it in blood, but I do plan on 'breaking it in' on a deer belly. And I thought about getting a damascus blade for it, but I guess I like the S30V blade just fine - I don't have to worry about any rust issues....

I was this close (see my two fingers touching?) to commissioning a lg LE in Mammoth Bark last year to be delivered this year. Things sometimes have a way of working out.
 
Mammoth ivory ages very nicely. It gets creamier and the grain becomes more highlighted. You know you are right. i'm gonna start carying mine for home light duty and alternate with my classic micarta inlay.
 
Well Scott, regardless of the material, I still like it. I have some Sebbie-envy with that pic there, good thing all your sebbies aren't in that pic:eek: :)
 
Thanks for the heads up. There must be some pent up demand, many are gone already.

Maybe someday I'll get a large Spalted Maple. Those R Nice! :thumbup:
