Did you need linger screws or anything to connect the spacers? Also, where did you get them? And will the spacers work on the 586?

Nope, longer screws are not needed.
I got them from an on line supplier that sells knife kits.
They're not threaded though.
You will need to tap them or drill them out.
The screws go straight through the first liner and thread into the opposing liner.
