Any BK 11 fans out there?

I got to say, I got a BK 11 about 6 months ago with the micarta scales and I cant put it down. Love the thing.

I have many many fixed blades and have tried to carry others but I just KEEP coming back to the 11. This includes the BK 24/14, Izula 1/2, Candiru, ESEE 3, Bark River Bravo Necker 2, and many more.

There is just something about that 11 that keeps it lashed to my belt.

Anyone else feel the same about this amazing little blade???

I have almost those same knives. However my Cami BK-11 is the one that is ALWAYS on my neck. This is the one I never leave home without. I will cycle through the rest of them but this is my base.
 
Yeah, I'm there with you! I've got the Eskabar and the Izula as well, and I often alternate between the Izula and the 11 for my EDC fixed blade. But, the 11 (which I received from Moose) has really emerged as my favorite of the three--not sure if I can quantify why exactly, but it just seems to feel right! The carabiner hole on the 14 catches my pinky a lot, plus I like having the bottle opener on the 11.

I guess I do the same thing. I have been edc'ing my ESEE 3 over the past few days and this evening it hit me, I miss my 11. Its just such a handy blade and looks damn good too. I recently put on my big boy pants, picked up the dremel and added some shade tree jimping on the spine and removed a section of the coating on the spine for a firesteel striker area. That baby will throw some sparks!!! I have my 2nd BK11 w/ scales on order now.. You know what they say 2 is 1....

My first Becker was the Bk 24. Still love that blade. Actually really like the blade shape, very strong at the tip and quite useful. The 24 is what got me to try the 11 and the 24 is in the drawer as of late. I also have the BK 16 and that is a great knife too. Blade shape while ceratinly larger remindes me of the basic shape on the 11/14/24.

I recenlty picked up a BK2 for wood processing. That thing is a beast....
 
For those of you who carry it often, what. Is your setup?

If I'm wearing an untucked shirt, I use a kydex sheath by Azwelke (sp?) In the scout carry position at my 12:00. Looking for a good pocket sheath so I cn carrry the 11 when I'm at work in business attire. I'm open to any suggestions.

I usually go IWB with the stock sheath and the TDI clip, wearing an untucked shirt, which works pretty well. But without the TDI clip, my 11 also rides fairly unobtrusively in my front right pocket, at least if the pocket is deep enough. Even though it's only a little bit shorter than the 14, the difference is enough to make the 11 noticeably more comfortable (for me) to pocket-carry.

Edit: I don't own one yet, but the KSF pocket sheaths seem like they would work well for discreet pocket-carry.
 
Nope... hate it... most terrible blade and awful design ever conceived ever... absolutely horrible.... ;)

I edc mine in a custom "taco" style kydex sheath under my shirt.
I don't wear tight shirts so it's not noticeable on me.

Yeah man. BK11 with micarta. There's something abot it that makes it my favorite Becker!
I love it! I just recently picked up a 24. Its cool. I sharpened it, put scales on it, and as I was unsheathing my 11 to try out my Azwelke kydex on the 24, i held the 11 and knew that the 24 could never take its place!
My BK11 will never leave me.
I wear it necker style by the way.

Pics look great fellas! Keep em coming. I will be out of town forr the nxt week so I will be away from my home pc. Otherwise I'd take some and post them up.
 
Good knife. I like the 14 more, but the 11 is a fine blade, especially with a set of Tommythewho scales, which are really hand-filling and go all the way to the end of the tang.



I carry both my 11 and 14's in an AZWelke kydex rig.

I carry mine in a similar fashion. Up front in 710 kydex. I added a blade tech strap.

If pocket carry is needed, it slips right in no problem.

I love mine by far my Favorite Becker!! The Tommythewho scales made all the difference in the world!! Currently it stays in my cargo pocket at all times unless I'm heading to church where it stays in my pocket!! Just ordered my Azwelke kydex and TDI can't wait to get it in and try it out!!! Pics to come when she's all together
