Any body ever find a knife

If anyone finds a Loveless, Merritt or Johnson, any style or year, please send detailed info, along with where you found it and I'll let you know if they are the ones I lost :). I'll pay a $100 reward for safe return. :)

I found a really nice Sebbie stuck in a tree where I fish for Browns and Steelheads. A large pair of needle nose fishing pliers were right below it. Fished all day this past fall and no one came back. Knife is perfect too. Has the wood inlays, I think coco bola wood judging from the grain. Sent in pics to CRK and a nice lady responded without having the knife in hand it appears to be a real CRK, just no markings. Took it apart and absolutely no markings of any kind on it whatsoever. So there ya go. keepem sharp

You are the luckiest person alive....

(First Post)

Once while deer hunting, my dad and I was walking down a logging road and I saw something shiny in a puddle. It was a 3 blade Case XX. It was in good shape. I later lost knife myself.

Pretty funny symmetry there. The only knife find I can think of is the time I found the Kershaw OD-1 I had lost in the seat of my van. Funny enough, I had replaced it already, so now I have 2 :)

found a rusty but functional case swing guard in the woods i played in as a kid, no scales pins intact. still have it some 20 years later. everytime i look at it i say im gonna rebuild it but i never get around to it.

Lets seeee..... Found 1 caracara2 and at least a dozen SAKs while hiking. Most recently, a vintage kershaw chum and a cold steel Latin machete cleaning out a house

I "found" an 8" and 10" butcher knives and curved blade skinner at a garage sale. They were filthy with some rust. $1 each. I started cleaning and "found" all 3 were CASE XX. These are my favorite BBQ blades.:)

I once found an old ice pick in the wall of a dilapidated house in the woods of my childhood home. Layer in life I found a huge (cheap) kitchen knife in the music library of my university. Go figure...

I found a Victorinox Huntsman back in the early 90's, used it for 15 years, then when I decided to replace it . . . I found another Victorinox Huntsman in the road. Other than that, I think I found an old S&W cheap lockback in San Francisco sometime in the late 90's. Thought I'd found gold or something.

Mostly, I just find junk these days. Somebody leaves their knife on the bumper of their truck, drives off, it ends up in the road & gets run over for days before I find it.

Found a few crappy plastic Chinese ones. Dad found an old stiletto years ago and gave that to me. Too bad it wouldn't fire or even fold back in. More of a fixed blade really. :D

I found a SOG Twitch (maybe not). I believe we were on vacation It is pretty small with slick handles, a flipper, and cheap steel. I don't use it as it is not comfortable at all, and way too slick for its size to be useful. It didn't flip at all, and was butter knife sharp. I cleaned it up, got it flipping fast again, and sharpened it. I spent more time renovating it and sharpening than anything else, and that was more enjoyable than trying to use it. I was really intrigued by the way SOG got an assisted flipper incorporated with a back-lock. Pretty slick simple idea imo.

I found a fillet knife down by this little creek I walk by on occasion many years ago. Don't know much about it other than it says "Normark Made in Sweden". I've never used it and it's basically been sitting in my sock drawer for years collecting dust and needs to be sharpened but other than that it's in great condition.

I've found a few here and there. Not too many.

I found this one in an old shed with no handle scales, so I put new scales on it:

I can't find my other photos of it right now. :(

I found this one laying on the sidewalk in Chico. The clip blade is melted from an electrical ark. I've seen that kind of damage before!

And I found this one in the Owens Valley north of Lone Pine.
