I am looking to buy another knife and came across an Igor Pampuha knife. I dont know the maker but the knife is gorgeous. So I was wanting to know if any of you guys could shed some light onto this knife. The description says that it has a Woots damascus and a hardness of 61 to 65 and that just seems incredibly hard, too hard. So does any one own one or have some experience with one to say how the knife performs. I tried doing some research but everything is in russian and the translations dont offer much help. It's a model 077 by the way.

I too am very curious about these knives. does anyone have any personal experience with one?

Hi, that knives made very good by Pampuha, Russia. He has excellent steel hardening, bulat is about 64-65HRC. It can cut glass.
His website is http://www.pampuha-bulat.ru/

Cool, do you have a Pampuha knife? If so how does it hold up. Is it reasonable to sharpen considering the hardness of the blade? I tried watching a few videos but I do not speak Russian at all and the translation was very poor. Thank you for any information and the link.

personally I don't have Pampuha knife, buy it possible to order from them. Russian people like their knives - good performing with good bulat blade and good hardening.
