Any Busse EDC fixed blades out there?

My Game Warden gets a lot of EDC duty.

Nah, they just buy 15 variations with different handle materials, and put them in a safe :foot: :eek: ;)




Actually, technically, I don't EDC a Busse. I EDC a Swamp Rat - because Busse doesn't make a small choilless blade that I like.

but choils are sexy. my wife told me she never would have married me if I didn't have so many knives with choils in the collection.

I'll second the NEDC as a great carry knife. and the AD (well, the BAD). and the meaner. and the warden. I had a cultellus, but I had to sell it, just didn't suit me. one of these days I'll pick up a high street and have the pommel ground down like an AD, and it will be glorious.

I thought about enlarging the choil on my AD to make it a bit more highstreet-like....
 
Mean street, Bad, One of two Fatty wardens, Batac Se or CG on occasion, Sus Scrofa, Ash 1, Tank Buster, and on rare occasions a St 56. They're all good.

one of the guys from the scrap yard did that and it turned out pretty nice, but I like the extra little bit of blade on the HS. you should go ahead and send it into the shop, have them do the full spa treatment. :thumbup:
 
I've carried this knife since I recieved it from a member here on the Forum . I carried it alone until a month or so then I added my Fenix P2D (Thanks to the advice from another Forum member)

I'm probably the only one who EDCs a cg ASH 1, but it works for me. At work I just stick to my izula and ZT folder though.

And there is not one thing wrong with that. I only say this because you bring it up often as if its a bad thing, and bothers you somewhat.

I joined my first knife club back in the late 70's while in HS. I used Puma's back then, but collected Case knives for the most part. I've used and collected many brands/customs since then. Our Club closed a few years ago but some of us still get together from time to time.

I can see why others may collect stamps, coins, watches, flashlights, etc..., but Guns and knives are the only things I have been pasionate enough about to collect. Even the ones I don't use bring me joy. I can't really explain why, except that I really love knives.

Also, if I didn't collect, I would never need another knife. I've got around 200, and there is no reason for me to use them all.
I never expected some of those knives I bought long ago would be worth 5x what I paid, but it is good to know now I wasn't just blowing my money.

And don't think most collectors aren't users. Some of the biggest collectors I know are also some of the biggest users of knives.

Anyway....guess all I needed to say was different strokes for different folks, and its all good:thumbup:


To the OP...here are my favorite EDC Busse patterns. Though I feel the ABA a bit long for EDC.
These are safe queens for collection only:D But I do have a user's from all but one of these patterns,lol.
