Its only been (almost) 4 years! Maybe the SMALLER waimea will suffice? ;)

How about not discoing the regular TNT which is by all accounts dang near perfect. I don't care for the hole in the blade would prefer stud and would like solid handle slabs, but hey the knife is well made. Though it is thin, I have used mine pretty hard and it is just as tough as anything else I've used so far. The knife is very well engineered and manf. just put it back into production, period.
 
Considering this thread is (6) years old, I guess it is safe to assume a LARGER 172 isn't going to happen.
