Any CKF users here?

This knife is sort of amazing. 4.2" blade according to my ruler, and it only weighs ~4.3oz. Fantastic action, no play in any direction and smooth as butter. Reminds me of a thinner ZT 0454 in the pocket (they're similarly sized, with the Milk having a slightly longer blade and the 0454 weighing slightly less). Wow, what a knife:

The Milk is one of those knives that seemed slow to catch on but since it's out there now to great acclaim, it'll be one of the most coveted CKF.

The only issue I have is my Milk didn't come with a certificate. Not a garage sale piece, either.

I absolutely love my MILK, and my son loves his as well. I like the subtle aesthetic of it, and it is an amazing flipper. Tremendous M390 blade is thin ground and very useful in shape. I would be first in line for one at about 3.3" blade as well.

How do you guys feel about the egos of the SSE?

I like mine a lot, it feels great in hand. I've found over the years that I prefer handles that are curved downward over straighter handles (e.g. I like the S.S.E. handle in hand better than I do the Milk handle). I find they mold into my palm better.

I actually like my customized S.S.E. so much it's a struggle to not carry it all the time.

I am about to pick up a Black SSE.... It looks like a nice 'higher end beater' if that makes sense. I also like how it looks like it can be opened with two hands. I am having a hard time coming up with reasons not to get it....

Hello friends!
I want to share with you my joy! Evening the postman brought me a new knife by CKF, model DCPT-4. And I want to tell you, gone are the day, and I still rejoice at him, like a child! Its mechanics, as always great and design is excellent! The knife is very comfortable in the hand, and its blade cuts very well.
Here are some photos my new toy:

I want one! I am glad to hear it is as good as it looks!

Never owned any CKF products but just by looking at various models showing up on the Exchange, I have gathered that the MILK pattern appeals the most to me. A bit concerned about the blade length which is listed at over 4", but then again I do own a Military which I think has about the same blade length. I like masterfully crafted FFG blades designed for cutting, cutting and cutting. I currently own and have owned some "status symbol" folders such as Sebbies (21 /25) and can even easily afford a 800-1000 Shiro, but being a "value" shopper, I keep coming back to the MILK for 1/2 to 1/3 price of the other previously mentioned. With this mindest, what am I missing or gaining by trying out a MILK first?

My Q is not rhetorical and not meant to turn the debate into a flame war. I don't want a bearing based flipper that needs constant maintenance either or one which compels you to keep opening it and maintaining it all the time for ultimate smoothness.

These lovely pictures of the Ratata and MILK are really making me regret missing the two chances I had to get one. I didn't pull the trigger quickly enough. I will be more vigilant now :D
