Any Coin Collectors hanging around?

Here is an example

In 1962 an 1875 $2.50 eagle was $65 in fine condition and $80 in ex fine condition. In 2006 PCGS states that the same coin is worth $20,000 in MS-60 and $52,500 in MS-64:D
 
Kind of apples to oranges, West. F-12, XF-20 and EF-40 are a long way from MS-60. For comparison, folks, the same coin in EF today is five grand. :)

No offense taken, Back in the 60's they did not have grades such as MS60, MS63, Etc. The coins were graded fine or ex fine, so therefore a coin that today is considered an MS67 may have been considered ex fine back then.
