I just finished a knife for my dad. It's 8 3/8 OAL little under a 4 inch blade made of A2. It ended up about .215 thick after I got the stock straightened out. This will be the fourth knife I've done that isn't a tanto so I had to try and get the grind as good as I could without hand sanding to straighten out little imperfections. I got a little wobble on the grind line on one side the other turned out pretty good. I did have a problem of getting a little dug in part 1 inch away from the plug line because I'm using a 1x30 grinder. I think maybe I was sitting a little crooked compared to the grinder so it through me off. In the end I think it looks ok and I'm sure my pops will be happy with it no matter what so I thought I'd get you guys' expert opinion. Thank you.

looks really good for being number 4. to me it looks like the ocer all shape is good the only thing i see is in your last picture is what most call 2in idus but im guessing your using a 1x30 belt sander so ill call it 1in idus. this is caused by the edge of the belt cutting a dip on the blade, while you were probably cleaning up the plung.

Not a bad looking knife if you ask me... I'm sure your dad will be proud to own it.

Only thing I'll add if if must be criticized, you and Even have more/less already pointed out, and that's just keeping your grind flat and not digging the corner of the belt in towards the end there. I also might have blended the inside curves of the scales just ever so slightly more, but again, I think the knife looks great, especially for a 4th, or even a 20th for that matter. Keep up the good work.
