Any custom stores in Chicago and New York?

The only ones based in NYC that I know of are Paragon Sports and Beautiful Blades ( http://www.beautifulblades.com/ ). Paragon is on Broadway and 18th street. Beautiful Blades' address is listed on their website but I don't know if they actually have a storefront or if it's internet only.

I'm thinking Lockport is just outside of Chicago and Moore Cutlery is there in case you don't mind a short drive. (By the map Lockport looks to be 15 -20 miles out of Chicago.) I've never been there but I talk to Gary a couple of times a year, yesterday coincidentally, and he's good to talk or buy knives to/from.

I second Moore Cutlery. Gary is a good guy:thumbup:. Lockport is 30-35 miles southwest of Chicago. I don't believe that Gary has a actual brick and mortar store but, is more internet based. Try giving him a call. Mabye you could work something out.
