Like the subject says, if there are any damascus forgers near Spokane, I'm wondering if maybe I can stop by your shop and peak over your shoulder while you get a billet going. I know how bothersome something like that can be, so I'd be willing to bring a case of yours, or something along those lines (I'm strapped for cash). I'm fascinated by the process.

I'm also looking to get a small piece of titanium powder coated, after I forge it and bend it to shape, but all the big powder coating companies won't touch it. Unless it's as big as a bike frame or something. Trying to make my collar bone plate into a little bracelet for my wife, for putting up with her horribly accident prone husband.

I know it's kind of far, but any time you are in Tonasket, look me up and we'll go mess with some hot steel. Should be fun.

Wow, that is a ways up there. At least once a month I head over to Tacoma (McChord AFB), for my reserve weekend. I might take a detour one of these trips.

there are several Our own Bruce Bump Lives in Walla Walla wich is not too far. Gary house and Ed Schemp live in Ephrata about two hours west. I am near Boise Id. six or seven hours away. Josh smith is in french town Mt. a few hours east. there are others I just cant think of them atm.
