I didn't know if someone would want it to put into a billet or something. If you think you can use it, I'll gladly give it to you.
 
Nathan ---- why don't you have them forged into a billet and make the blade for that #1 first folder out of it ? ;^)
 
well you know you can buy an of the CPM powder that you want
you could mix up a can of cool supper Damascus (if you can get it to work )

Bobby, the pleasure was mine. It is great to meet the folks from this forum in person. I was a lot younger than Bobby expected (apparently I have a crusty curmudgeon online personality). I got to meet Cap (Acrid Saint) who is also a little bit crusty on line, but is truly warm and smiley in person. And many others.

I met up with Kevin again this year, and this time we didn't talk about metallurgy at all. He told a truly funny story about a not-serious motorcycle accident involving a baby owl (who was not hurt). Actually, it wasn't the story that was so memorable, but the way Kevin told it.

Bobby has some mad knife throwing skills. What a hoot to watch that. You meet these people on line and have no idea about the other sides to them.

Not a crusty curmudgeon online personality, you are have a lot of knowledge for your years. I hope it was taken as a compliment. That is how it was intended.
I hope to be able to spend more time with you at some point. I enjoyed you and your wife's company very much.
