Found out my Finacee ordered from J. Loose.... apparently he sends out some ring sizers to ensure the right fit... should arrive soon. I will keep this updated with the process... though it sounds like there may be some time before it is made.... certainly by July which is when I am going to need it!
 
Jloose made my wedding ring. Its his standard damascus ring and is lined with white gold. No corrosion whatsoever even though im in water all the time. Its held up great, not a scratch on it! I wear it at all three of my jobs (knifemaker, firefighter, carpet installer.) I highly recomend him and his work. Through my own personal experiance i've found his rings to be outstanding.
 
Just a note for future reference. Juergen Schanz made a Damascus ring for me and it is truly stunning workmanship. It is stainless Damascus and I have had zero problems with staining or discoloration. I spend some time chasing my sea food in the ocean off San Francisco not a problem. As far as being local he was a pleasure to deal with over the Internet and very professional.
One thought, much as I like this type of ring it is fairly low key. It is just possible that your faïence my like a touch of gold in it. Just a thought.
