Any Dauntless Fans?

I'm a TAD Gear fan since 2009. Im about to checkout with a green TAD Dauntless. It's pretty but have light features then i tried to search for the warranty information. Nothing, i removed it from my basket.

The knife definitely not worth the markup $400+ price. For $300 its a good knife.

Glad I got one under $400 after seeing those insane auction prices. Today, direct from TAD, mine cost more than what most others paid due to paying California Sales Tax!

The knife has very thick grind, much thicker than an SMF. The bead blast finish on both blade and handle also scratch easily. It sure a good looking knife though.

TAD already famous for their expensive stuff, I won't going to pay even more.

They are stonewashed this time around. It should look much nicer after use. As for the thick grind, I'm ok with that. I won't be using this to cut paper and apples.

I did my own stonewash on mine and reprofiled it to 34 degrees inclusive with a 40 degrees micro bevel. It's handling everything I ask. I have yet to come across a better EDC. It's hard to believe the level of craftsmanship from a mystery maker.

Supposedley, it's made by an unamed machining shop not connected to the knife industry.

Got my first Dauntless MK3 a couple days ago. This is my first TAD anything. Knife broke in well and is very smooth. Been carrying it every since I got and its a great EDC. Think I got the TAD bug though, because I just ordered Covert DC pants today. We'll see!

Those are some of my favorite pants. You won't be disapointed, and now you're definitely screwed;)
