I took apart a dead LCD tv and was wondering if I could use the fluorescent tubes to build a light box with and what would be required. All I have is the tubes, no transformers or anything.
 
What was the problem with the TV? Many times the dead LCD TV problem is that the flourescent tubes have burned out causing it to have no picture.
